The tomato is not a thick sauce, but mild and thin, and it soaks into the fish rather than overpowering it. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eIt is easiest on bread, roughly crushed with a fork. It is just as good stirred into hot pasta or into a rice salad, where the tomato oil doubles as the sauce. A classic is salada de atum: fillets, boiled potatoes, onion rings, and a few olives.
