Should be served at 16-18ºC; decanting is recommended.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOrigin: The vineyards are located in the Cima-Corgo (Alijó) sub-region at an average altitude of 500-600 m on slate and granite soils.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eGrape varieties: Hand-picked grapes from old vineyards (over 70 years old) with a great diversity of native varieties (more than 20), especially Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz, and Rufete.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eVinification and aging: The grapes are harvested in September and October. 65% destemmed with minimal crushing\u003cbr\u003elong fermentation in small tanks, 3 months maceration after fermentation for part of the final cuvée.\u003cbr\u003eMalolactic fermentation in French oak barrels and chestnut barrels (15% new).
