Craftsmanship & enjoyment: For this tin, fine cockles (Cerastoderma Edule) of the highest quality are carefully selected. To preserve their delicate, maritime flavor in its purest form, they are prepared in a purely minimalist way, packed only in water and a little salt ("al natural"). With 50 to 60 small, buttery-soft cockles per tin, this size offers the perfect amount for snacking during a convivial tapas gathering.
Donation to ECOMAR: For every tin sold, Conservas Luliña donates €0.15 to the ECOMAR Foundation, which carries out coastal cleanup projects.
Tip for connoisseurs: Serve the cockles slightly chilled directly from the tin. A few drops of fresh lemon or a dash of hot sauce are all you need to enhance the aroma of the ocean. They pair perfectly with an ice-cold Spanish vermouth, a cool beer, or a fresh white wine.
