The handle of the Atelier collection reflects the creativity and expertise of Opinel's carpenters, combining walnut with ebony.
This innovation follows Opinel's principle of using European raw materials and repurposing wood waste from handle production.
The knives of the Tradition N°08 Atelier series feature handles made of French walnut wood. The handle end is made of African ebony, separated by a thin layer of maple wood.
Each handle is hand-polished. The blades made of modified stainless steel are characterized by their ground-polished finish.
Like all N° 08 models from Opinel, this edition also features the proven Virobloc system, which securely locks the blade made of rust-resistant, modified Sandvik 12C27 steel.
