This enchanting 40-year-old Tawny from Conceito is a true treasure trove of complexity and depth, bringing the historic region to life through a harmonious combination of time-honored tradition and innovation.

It is the result of decades of dedication and expertise from the renowned Conceito winery and the brilliant oenologist Rita Marques Ferreira. 

The grapes for this fine Tawny come from old vines at Quinta do Cabido, located along the Teja River in the Numão region, and are selected with great care. 

The first sip reveals a delicate balance of sweetness and acidity, while aromas of sun-ripened red berries and candied fruits delight the senses. Nuances of honey and spices lend the wine a refined depth, accompanied by a subtle acidity that keeps the tasting experience vibrant.

The unique terroir of this area and the slate-rich soil give the wine minerality and character. Traditional methods such as foot-treading in granite lagares are combined here with modern techniques to create this exquisite 40-year-old Tawny.
