- Stainless steel: X50CrMoV15 is a stainless steel with high corrosion resistance and very good cutting performance.
- Handle: Beech is the most commonly used wood for making Opinel knife handles. The beech wood comes from France and is hard, durable and easy to work with. It has a homogeneous appearance and the light color varies from yellowish to pink. You can recognize the wood by the many small, dark lines. The handle has been lacquered to provide better protection against moisture and dirt.
