Inspired by the voyages of Portuguese sailors and explorers and their search for new lands and exotic plants, the "7 Mares" vermouth was created: a carefully curated blend of white wine, brandy, 32 selected spices such as star anise, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, and many more, aromatic herbs such as lemongrass, spearmint, lemon verbena, and many more, dried flowers, natural fruit extracts, and essential fruit oils such as lemon oil, bergamot, and many more. The result can be seen, smelled, and tasted, presenting itself in a beautiful amber-yellow color.
A true vermouth. Intense and rich aroma, fresh sea scent, notes of citrus fruits and spices that come together in an exotic lightness. On the palate, it is very full-bodied and deep, with a perfect balance between clear sweetness, refreshing acidity, fine bitter notes, and a long finish.

Talent meets excellent and natural ingredients – that is how the creation of the "7 Mares" vermouth can be briefly described. In this case, the talent was provided by the wonderful Rita Maques Ferreira, who is known worldwide for her Conceito wines. In collaboration with Professor Luis Antunes, she developed the recipe for this excellent vermouth.
Cocktail and long drink ideas with 7 Mares Vermouth:
Perfect Serve: Sea-U-cumber
- 6cl 7 MARES Vermouth
Dip half of the glass rim in Fleur de Sel. Then add ice cubes to the glass along with a piece of cucumber. Now add the 7 Mares Vermouth.
Cocktail: 8 Mares
- 4cl 7 MARES Vermouth
- 6cl Ginger Beer
Pour the drink into a glass filled with ice. Add a piece of orange as a garnish.
Cocktail: Portugroni 4-4-2
- 4cl 7 MARES Vermouth
- 4cl Gin
- 2cl Bitters
Add the drink to a shaker with crushed ice and shake for 30 seconds. Then strain into a glass with ice cubes. Finally, add orange zest and a few thin slices of orange.
Long Drink: Deep Sea
- 6cl 7 MARES Vermouth
- 20cl Soda
Moisten the rim of the glass with lemon juice and then dip it in Fleur de Sel. Serve this long drink with plenty of ice, a slice of lemon, and a piece of cinnamon.
