The Trincadeira Monte Branco 2019 is another new project from the winery - an exciting addition to Luis Louro's varietal wine collection.
Tasting Notes
This wine is great. Ripe and juicy, it presents itself as a round and sexy red wine with special charm.
A hint of herbs on the edges gives it Mediterranean complexity, while the tasteful finish ensures lasting enjoyment.
This polished Tinto shows a beautiful balance between depth, freshness, and ripe tannins - a combination that makes it particularly accessible and appealing. However, it is fresh - an important aspect that prevents the wine from becoming too lush.
Grape Variety & Vinification
100% Trincadeira - an authentic Portuguese grape variety, which is interpreted here in its purest form.
The aging took place for 12 months in used French oak with an alcohol content of 14.3%.

Current state: Very appealing and already optimally accessible.
Aging potential: It will be interesting to see how this wine ages - an exciting question, as it does not seem to have much backbone, despite its current attractiveness.
