We have been working with Domaine Joël Delaunay for several years now and love this Sauvignon de Touraine! Now with a screw cap—how convenient!

Pale golden color. The nose is predominantly fruity (lemon, grapefruit, vineyard peach), with a floral undertone (boxwood). On the palate, it is very refreshing, with a freshness perfectly balanced with the fruit that carries through to the finish. Very delicious as an aperitif or with seafood.

Very harmoniously balanced, long and full-bodied; on the palate, it caresses with its freshness and fruitiness and has a lovely flow.

With every vintage, it is clearly evident how important and decisive the winemaker's work in the vineyards is for the quality of the wine. No technology can help here—only strict selection by the winery.

This year, Joël Delaunay has outdone himself and produced a sensational, mineral Sauvignon that can easily outshine some other Rieslings. However, quantities are very limited, making it a rare little gem.
