Louis Lefebvre and Béatrice d'Anselme, winegrowers from the Rhône, are coming to visit and pouring a selection of their wines. Their son Marin, an aspiring winegrower himself and currently part of Maître Philippe & Filles, is actively helping out. In addition to the red wines already known from our range, the tasting table also features various white and rosé wines, including “Carpe Diem” and “Trilogie”.
A tasting in the true spirit of wine and family tradition – it simply has to be good!
For Lefebvre-d’Anselme, respect for the land and the wine is paramount. That is why pesticides are largely avoided. The grass and weeds between the vineyards are cleared once a year by goats and sheep, which also enrich the soil with natural fertilizer. The grapes are mostly harvested by hand. This means that, if necessary, a preliminary selection can be made right at the time of harvest.
For the two passionate winegrowers, “wine is a very noble product, full of life. A product of nature and the result of the work of people who never control nature, but cooperate with the soil, climate, and vines. The winegrower does not create the wine – they process what nature gives them and transform it into wine.”
