Everyone probably knows the famous French Puy lentils … but what about their green sisters, the lentilles vertes du Berry, or their blonde cousins (lentilles blondes), or even the magnificent protected-designation-of-origin white beans from Tarbes in southern France (Haricots Tarbais)?
How they all have them and we all love them, because these little all-rounders are delicious and can do much more than just winter stews – especially in summer salads, they really shine!
The World Health Organization has also recognized their potential and simply declared 2016 the Year of Pulses. We think this is a very wise decision and are celebrating right along with it. Of course, the right wine pairing is also an essential part of the occasion, and that is you!
When: Friday, June 24, 2016, from 5 to 8 p.m.
Where: Emser Str. 42, 10719 Berlin-Wilmersdorf
As always, no registration is required; just drop by, we look forward to seeing you!
As a little inspiration, we have compiled a selection of pulse recipes from our blog here. Have fun trying them!
