The house of “Ramon Peña,” based in Ribadumia, Galicia, can look back on a history of over 90 years: founded in 1920 by José Peña Oubiña in Cambados, Galicia, the company is now run by the third generation, Nely Concheiro. Its business is producing premium canned fish and seafood from Galicia’s Rías (fjords) without additives, enjoyed worldwide. As the only company in its sector, it is protected by the “Pesca de Rías” brand, which guarantees the origin and quality of the product. Ramon Peña’s stated goal is to inspire gourmets and restaurateurs around the world to think differently. That is why only freshly caught fish of the season is used, and everything is made by hand except for sealing and labelling the cans.
